At Schembri PT we do not focus on “weight loss” but rather “Fat Loss” or body fat reduction. The difference between the two approaches is how you will look once you have reached your goal and how you are able to maintain your results afterwards. Weight loss programs offer an in discrepant loss of total mass meaning you will drop body fat and usually muscle as well.
The approach we use will see you dropping body fat at a consistent rate whilst maintaining muscle. Muscle mass is an important factor in changing your body composition and being able to maintain it. The more muscle you have the easier it is to keep body fat to a minimum. We provide programs that are tailored to you to achieve your goals, so if your primary goal is to drop body fat, then that is what we will be focusing on.
We help you achieve this goal through providing you with a customised training and nutrition plan to follow and also offer check-ins to access and measure your progress along the way.

The support offered alongside our program depends on your individual needs, you can opt for a check in every week, every two weeks or every three weeks. Your progress is measured using your measurements, scale weight and photos and the plans tweaked to ensure you keep progressing. You can expect to see results in the first 2 -4 weeks of a program. If you are looking to get in the best shape of your life then we certainly can help you with this! Whether it be for competition or a photo shoot this program we run is from 16 -20 weeks in duration. During the course of the program we focus on making small improvements on a weekly basis, but it is important you are dedicated and committed.
Included in this package are all your training plans, nutritional plans and supplement guides, checks ins are online weekly with a fortnightly phone call. The package includes all changes required and we work with you to help you plan the all of the important final weeks of the prep to have you peaking for your show or photoshoot! After the show or shoot is over we discuss your plan moving forward, and help you get back on track so you can keep progressing and return to a maintainable body fat level.
